Here is a little about the book:

Past secrets return to complicate Maisie’s future with the charming Sidney Daniels in the final installment of the Cornish romance series.

Picking up where book seven left off, Maisie’s plans to celebrate her book’s thrilling news remain on hold after Sidney has vanished from Port Hewer overnight, following a brush with his secret past. His departure leaves Maisie with a head full of questions and a heart torn in two, made even worse by the rumors flying about him through the town. Where and why has he gone? Will he ever come back again? And—foremost in Maisie’s mind—was the heartache from his younger days somehow to blame for his sudden and mysterious flight?

But when Dean convinces her that Sidney may be facing a choice that could ruin his life, Maisie must set out to find him, once again leaving behind the Cornish seaside haven of Port Hewer she’s come to think of as home, and leaving behind the answer to a secret she’s been longing to know since the beginning. Not knowing when or if she’ll return, she’s taking the biggest risk with her heart so far…and the truth she discovers waiting for her at the end of her journey will make her wonder if things can ever possibly be the same as they were before.

Questions are answered, secrets are spilled, and the biggest reveal of the series is finally unveiled as A LITTLE HOTEL IN CORNWALL reaches its exciting conclusion.

Here it is, Book 8, the final installment of A Little Hotel in Cornwall Series. Much anticipated, yet disheartening to say goodbye, Laura Briggs is finally wrapping it up.

Picking up where Book 7 left off, Maisie is on the road searching for Sidney after he fled, astonished that his past secrets surprisingly finally caught up with him. Of course Maisie is upset, her relationship with Sidney was finally on the right track, and she wants some answers. The search to find Sid not only takes Maisie to some very different places, but she keeps running into multiple stumbling blocks on her journey and becomes very dispirited. When she finally finds Sidney, many secrets are exposed, and the big question is whether or not their relationship will survive. All our final questions are answered, and most of all we find out the biggest question of them all, who is the real Alistair Davies? Filled with shocks and surprises throughout the story, this charming tale finally comes to a savory ending.

With a continuance of all the appeal and magic carried thought out the series, Laura Briggs has given us a delightful and enthralling ending to her Cornwall series. The characters are as charismatic as they were since the beginning, and with a touch of mystery, a pinch of romance, a dash of adventure we come to the much anticipated conclusion. It’s sad to say goodbye to such wonderful characters, but I feel sure Ms. Briggs might just have some more magic up her sleeve. A delightful read, I highly recommend this book and the entire series.

Thank you so much to Laura Briggs, and Rachel Gilbey from Rachels Random Resources for my gifted copy of this book for my honest and unbiased opinion.
