If you take anything away from this review, I hope it’s the same thing I did….. I hope you find yourself singing “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” by Gwen Stefani all day long with a huge smile on your face. Yep, I said it, I really did, not only is this book a fun read, but its an earwig too!!! (I know you’re singing it already).

So all Beth Holly wants is to celebrate a traditional Christmas. That’s all she wants. But growing up ‘Beth Holly’ has not allowed her to have your “traditional family holiday” because she is the youngest daughter of The Holly Family, you know, from Britain’s longest running Christmas show “Holly Jolly Christmas.” As this years program starts prepping to shoot, Beth decides she needs out and goes on the run. The family, faced with the need for drastic changes for the tv show to keep it alive and follows Beth making things into a “reality show.”

That’s just the main story, I didn’t even get into telling you about Beth’s ex-boyfriend and his brother, their drama, and how the two stories intermingle. The whole thing is a Christmas romcom roller coaster and one heck of a fun ride. You get absolutely all of your favorite things about Christmas packed into this story with completely likable Beth, 2 hot guys, and all the family drama you could ever ask for, and then you still walk away with a smile on your face. A smile, and singing “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” for the next 3 days.

I really liked this book, it was a fast, enjoyable and entertaining read just perfect for getting yourself into the holiday mood, or even to read during the Christmas season to accompany all the cozy holiday feels. I would definitely recommend.

About the Author

Louise Marley writes murder mysteries and romantic comedies. She is lucky enough to live in a village where there is a famous library and TWO ruined castles. (Her husband still thinks they moved there by accident).
