BOTM for September

I loved how this photo turned out so much that I had to share it on my blog.   This is the stack of books I got for September from Book of the Month.

Below is what I posted on instagram along with this gorgeous photo …..

Ahhh, I finally get to post my #BOTM picks. The way I was going it would be next month by the time I got them posted!

So yeah, I’m so angry about those darn cookies @yasofthemonth keeps putting in the boxes and the lack of cookies from @bookofthemonth that I just decided to improvise on my own. Less calories this way. Adults need cookies too people!

Here is what I got…..

If Only I Could Tell You by @hannahbeckermanauthor
Hannah Beckerman pens a life-affirming novel that tells the story of a family divided and the secret that can possibly unite them—a must for fans of This Is Us.

Dominicana by Angie Cruz @writercruz
In bright, musical prose that reflects the energy of New York City, Angie Cruz’s Dominicana is a vital portrait of the immigrant experience and the timeless coming-of-age story of a young woman finding her voice in the world.

The Golden Hour by Beatriz Williams @authorbeatriz
a dazzling epic of World War II in which a beautiful young “society reporter” is sent to the Bahamas, a haven of spies, traitors, and the infamous Duke and Duchess of Windsor.

I am looking forward to all these books, maybe a buddy read in the future for If Only I Could Tell You.

Yet, Dominicana has been on my radar since BEA in May, and The Golden Hour has just caught my eye so many times, but the truth is I finally caved and bought them both because of the rave reviews my friend Caroline @hemysbookclub wrote on both books. The woman should be in sales, she writes some of the best reviews ever. Ok, time for another cup of coffee for me and some reading….

I hope you take a look at all three of these beautiful books.  You can grab them here at these sites too…..
